The Fitglow Beauty “Lip colour serums” are hands down my favourite lip product. They have extremely clean ingredients, a gorgeous shade range (14 colours) and a beautiful buttery texture on the lips (not sticky at all). They’re packed with nourishing ingredients to help improve the appearance and feel of your lips. The formula is a 10/10 for me! I love these lippies so much, that I bought the whole shade range to swatch for you guys. I have photos of me wearing the Lip Colour Serums down below. Additionally, you can also watch my youtube video reviewing/swatching them at the end of this post *excited dance*. P.s. I also love that FitGlow Beauty is a Canadian company (proud Canadian here)!
These lip serums are 98% organic, cruelty-free, gluten free, toxin free and recyclable. Additionally, they rate 0 on the “think dirty” scale, making it a super clean beauty product. This is particularly important for a lip product since we most likely ingest some of it. High performing and non-toxic ingredients?!.. What more do we need!
Most of the colours in the range are on the sheer side. You can definitely build them up by applying a second coat. They have a very pleasant scent (smells slightly of vanilla). Once applied, my lips feel smooth and cushioned. The texture is buttery and not sticky at all (sticky lip gloss is a pet peeve of mine!). I find these work better than any chapstick I’ve ever used. In fact, I didn’t get chapped lips once this past winter because I always had a layer of the serum on. I even applied it before going skiing and It kept my lips nourished and protected!
The packaging is beautiful and feels luxurious. They come in a frosted tube with a silver top with water droplets. You can see the beautiful colour right through the tube (no guessing what shade you’re grabbing). They have a doe foot applicator and each tube contains 10g of product. The packaging is also recyclable.
“LIP COLOUR SERUM goes beyond just adding color and hydration to lips. The plant-based gloss gently plumps without irritation. Organic Pomegranate Plant Sterols, Beet Extract, Vegan Collagen, and antioxidants improve lip cell structure and health to diminish fine lines and leave lips full and soft.”
According to the FitGlow Beauty website “The natural plumping effect occurs due to a combination of organic phospholipids from bio ferment extracts that naturally plump the lips without irritation. The moisture in our skin causes these phospholipid vesicles to swell, resulting in a minimized appearance of fine lines and increased lip fullness.” I do notice a slight plumping effect. It’s not drastic, but it does seem to make my lips a bit more juicy. I feel a slight tingle when I apply a lot, which I enjoy.

What are my go to shades? Honestly, every shade in the line is gorgeous in it’s own way. It’s so hard to choose favourites! I reach for Bliss the most (I’m on my second tube). A new favourite is Rose. I was patiently awaiting It’s release and it didn’t dissapoint! It’s similar to Bliss on me, however it has a bit more colour. “Deep” was my go-to shade this past winter. It adds a “just bitten” look to the lips, which Is gorgeous in the colder months. Koi is also a new favourite for me because it’s such a unique shade!

I will also mention that Fitglow Beauty came out with a “Night Lip Serum”. I was super excited when they released this because I would sometimes wear my lip colour serums to bed for the hydration. It is a bit thicker in consistency than the Lip Colour Serums. It feels amazing on the lips! When I wake up my lips feel so soft and hydrated.
According to Fitglow’s website, the Night lip serum: “Softens, hydrates and transforms lips at night with proven plant extracts and vitamins. Our unique Plant Ceramides formula restores lip moisture barrier while protecting from water loss. Organic pomegranate Plant Sterols, Beet Extract, and Vegan Collagen improve lip cell structure, increase lip volume, and fight signs of aging.”
